Modern Social Association (MSA):

Modern Social Association (MSA) is a non-governmental, voluntary, and non-profit association established officially in 2016. We provide services in Health, Education, Nutrition, CP, and WASH to the community. We believe that building the capacity of young generations will contribute to community development across all targeted fields of work. Therefore, we are working through applying a scientific approach in the field and establish a training and research environment at local level.


Job Purpose:

The Field Coordinator will be in charge of coordinating all project activities with the responsible parties' teams in the field and with the local authorities supported by the Project. S/he will ensure close coordination with the related authorities and other stakeholders. The Field Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of the project by acting as a central point of contact and facilitating seamless collaboration between all stakeholders.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Coordinate and communicate with counterparts at district and governorate levels, including local authorities, NGOs, and responsible parties.
  2. Closely coordinate with community committees and other stakeholders for smooth operation of the project.
  3. Act as a clear communication channel between the MSA program, stakeholders, and project beneficiaries.
  4. Proactively address challenges and risks, proposing solutions and implementing corrective actions.
  5. Map out all actors working in similar areas and suggest complementary or joint work.
  6. Oversee the local responsible parties and provide support on coordinating with local stakeholders and authorities.
  7. Contribute both technically and operationally to the implementation of project activities in targeted districts.
  8. Collecting reports, and ensuring data entry.
  9. Provide project management with feedback, ideas, and suggestions for adaptations or enhancements.
  10. Reports of achievement of daily, weekly, and closing to project manager
  11. Record issues, risks, and lessons learned before, during, and after project completion.
  12. Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships and linkages.
  13. Build strong relationships with responsible parties and liaise with relevant stakeholders to maximize impact and synergy.
  14. Complete all other tasks and responsibilities assigned for the benefit of MSA with a generous and serving attitude.


Qualification Experience and Skills: 

  1. University degree in education, special education, or related field.
  2. Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position (NGO experience preferred)
  3. Experience and knowledge of local governance systems, decentralization policies and laws, basic service delivery and recovery planning
  4. Ability to apply this knowledge to changing contexts
  5. Experience engaging with high-level stakeholders, such as government officials, including managing complex relationships
  6. Proven experience in partnership building and networking
  7. Good knowledge of safety standards and legislation related to construction and rehabilitation in the region
  8. High computer skills (MS Office, Google sheets, and Outlook)
  9. The ability to use (ERPnext) system.
  10. Works well in and promotes teamwork
  11. Comfortable in a multi-cultural environment
  12. Flexible and able to handle pressure well
  13. Self-motivated, results-driven and excellent sense of organization
  14. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  15. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions quickly and independently.
  16. Extremely flexible and able to cope with stressful situations.


Working conditions:

Due to the nature of activities and areas where MSA operates, you might have to work below normal/difficult working/travel/accommodation conditions. The jobholder is required to be able to work out of office location, and for extended periods
