Modern Social Association (MSA):

Modern Social Association (MSA) is a non-governmental, voluntary, and non-profit association established officially in 2016. We provide services in Health, Education, Nutrition, CP, and WASH to the community. We believe that building the capacity of young generations will contribute to community development across all targeted fields of work. Therefore, we are working through applying a scientific approach in the field and establish a training and research environment at local level.


Job Purpose:

To ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and projects through data collection, analysis, reporting, and recommendations on how to improve it.




DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Preparing a monitoring and evaluation plan for the organization’s projects, including defining key performance indicators and methods used to collect and analyze data.
  2. Monitor the implementation of projects and activities and identify any deviations from the plan.
  3. Periodically assess the project's needs and evaluate the performance of workers, indicators and criteria in accordance with established evaluation procedures...
  4. Ensure that there is an accurate and clear system for storing and archiving. All project documents.
  5. Verifying beneficiary lists and matching them according to the project standards specified in the plan.
  6. Collect data from the field, including beneficiary data and performance data.
  7. Analyze data from the field and identify strengths and weaknesses in implementing project activities and indicators.
  8. Preparing periodic and final reports for the organization’s projects, including progress and performance reports in achieving project indicators.
  9. Providing technical support to the working teams of monitoring and evaluation assistants and livelihood supervisors in the project, including training them on data collection and analysis methods.
  10. Develop and implement monitoring tools, which will include, but not limited to, data collection, analysis, and reporting on program indicators.


Qualification Experience and Skills: 

  1. University degree in IT, development, statistics, or a related discipline.
  2. At least two years of experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation.
  3. Strong data collection and analysis skills.
  4. Good reporting and communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and within a team.
  6. Experience of using KoboCollect, (MS Office, Word, Excel, Power point and Power BI)
  7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  8. Effective organizational skills.
  9. Effective Arabic and English verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively deal with telephone and email enquiries.
  10. Evidence of ability to work co-operatively with others to meet tight deadlines.
  11. Experience of working with confidential data is desirable.


Working conditions:

  1. Due to the nature of activities and areas where MSA operates, you might have to work below normal/difficult working/travel/accommodation conditions. The jobholder is required to be able to work out of office location, and for extended periods.
